Chest X-ray after the Insertion of CVP Line


The commonest complication of subclavian central line (central CVP line) is pneumothorax. During CVP line insertion, there are most likely the chances of puncturing the pleura and subsequent pneumothorax. That's why, getting chest x-ray after CVP line insertion is inevitable.
